As we continue to learn each day, it really is impressive in what students come up with, when they are given the chance to learn and explore. In math students were creating different images with pattern blocks. Here are two examples.:

As I was walking around it was great how the students were using new vocabulary as "my picture has hexagons, triangles, and trapezoids." Another student said, " mine is bigger than yours because I used more pattern blocks." As educators it is really important to remember that during exploration and play so much learning comes alive and it is really so important that as teachers you implement as much as you can into your classroom.
