We finally completed our project. Students created a play on their own and they even read a book about all that they learned about bears. They did an amazing job and it was so nice to see how excited and engaged they were while creating the play and book. The link above will allow you to see a small video on our play. As I have been having conversations with the students they are really interested in puppets and figuring out how to create them. We recently took a trip to the Marionette Theater in Central Park, which is how they became interested in puppets. It will be interesting to see where their conversations lead to.
