Families, I hope you had a great weekend, and a Happy Halloween if you do celebrate it. I want to thank the families for making the fall festival celebration such a success and coming in to work with your child on arts and crafts. I really appreciate it.
This month we will be changing our unit to community helpers. If you would like to come in and talk about your job, please let me know. We would love to have you. Nurse Lisa, and Joe our custodian have come in to talk to both classes as well as the principal. We also have the crossing guard coming soon and a nurse from a hospital on November 17,2010. We will be going to the fire station on Thursday. I can't wait.
Some other projects we have been working on our castles. Students are really interested in this topic and have been using centers to explore the theme of castles. We will continue with this and create an art display in the coming weeks.
A few other things are there is no school November 2, and November 11, 2010. A reminder that PTC are on November 9, 2010. If you did not sign up for a time please do. Also on Friday we will be talking and learning about the holiday of Diwali. We will finish up our game unit and will be working on the letter f this week. I will be posting pictures of the fall festival this week in the hallway. Other than that, have a great week and I will talk to you soon.
