This week I introduced the concept of sketch books. During this time students have their own personal journals. They listen to music and draw and sketch whatever comes to their minds. It is their time to think about the day and reflect on what has happenend. It is a time for the students to be creative and draw what ever comes to their imagination. The books are theirs to keep and will be used throughout the school year, from drawing to writing in the writing center. Here are a few examples of some of the students work.
