Today we took our first field trip to the Queens County Farm. Students had the opportunity to feed animals. They were able to feed the goats and the alpachi. Students also were able to look at the chickens and pigs. Mr. Dan our tour guide took us on a hay ride, took us to pick pumpkins, and also showed us how a pumpkin grows. He also took us around the farm and had us look at different crops that grow on the farm. It was a great day of learning and fun. Students took home a pumpkin at the end. Thank you parents for helping it was so great to have you there!
