This week we have many exciting things coming up. Today we observed and made predictions about what apples we thought would taste the best and then did a taste testing. We decided that red delicious and northern spy were our favorite. Students enjoyed the tasting and then used language and art to describe what they did. We also worked on spatial awareness to help the students understand where parts of their face is and what parts we have. They used small mirrors to look in and then drew themselves. We also learned the letter o !!
During math students continued to explore with manipulatives while others created age collages.

A reminder that there is no school for prek on Friday, and that our trip to Red Mango is on Thursday. If you are attending with the class, I need you to be at the school by 10:30 am. I am looking forward to a great week, and can't wait to start our project about icecream. Lastly we are still talking and learning about families and how they are different and special.
