Families, I hope you all had a great weekend. A few reminders: Tomorrow is picture day. We will have our pictures taken at 8:30 am, first thing in the morning. Also Wednesday is the field trip. Students need to bring a bag lunch with non perishable items.
Today we started our new unit in math. We learned what a graph was and created a graph about how we felt about coming to school. Some new words are graph, most, least, how many more?.
We learned about the letter r,R. As an activity see if you and your child can find things in your house that start with the letter r,R.
In reading we are working on repetative texts, as I went walking what did you see? I saw a ______ looking at me. If you have any books that repeat themselves, it is helpful to read them with your child. This will help them to become familiar with words and they will feel very proud that they can read the book to you.
