New learning with thinking maps and measurement

Today in the morning students created bubble maps on snow. This week we have been making a lot of different class books as well and we read the one on snow this morning. Each child received a copy to go home. The students were really excited when they saw the snow on Monday and the topic has still become a conversation daily.!

J's bubble map and he even put in the frame of reference!

We still are exploring measurement and students have come up with even more ways to measure and even have created longer tools with paper and tape to extend the length of an object when it does not work with a single tool!
