Today students watched a show to learn about the Chinese New Year. They watched the show that showed Chinese inspired dances, learned some new words, and saw a great performance about a monkey, and other animals. They even were able to see a dragon do a dance. It was a lot of fun for them!
In writing we looked at Donald Crews again.Today we focused on how he as an author uses so many details in his writing and how he does not leave any empty space. He uses himself in his drawing and covers the entire paper to show his story. Here is one example of a started piece today!
